Yes. A business's verification status or tier may change if its pet policies, accommodations, practices, or other relevant circumstances change. FurFinds may also review a business's verification status when concerns are reported or during future re-evaluations.
Yes! If there’s a business you’d love to see on FurFinds, you can submit it through our Pet-Friendly Business Request Form, available through the link in our Instagram bio. Your request helps us learn which businesses and places pet owners want to see on FurFinds.
Businesses interested in verification can complete the FurFinds business application. The application asks for information about the business and its pet-friendly practices. FurFinds then reviews the submitted information before making a verification decision and, when approved, assigning the appropriate tier.
Pet owners can report concerns about a business using the designated complaint form available within the FurFinds Platform. Reports are reviewed by the FurFinds Trust team, and appropriate action may be taken based on the information provided and the outcome of the review.
“Under Review” means a business is currently being assessed by FurFinds and has not yet been assigned a verification tier. Once the review is complete, the business may receive one of the three FurFinds verification tiers if approved.
The FurFinds Trust team will review the information provided and determine the appropriate next steps. This may include contacting the business and, when applicable, reviewing its FurFinds verification status. If additional information is needed, FurFinds may contact you using the email address provided with your report.
FurFinds is a pet-friendly discovery and verification platform designed to help pet owners find businesses they can feel confident visiting with their pets. FurFinds uses a three-tier verification system to provide greater clarity about how businesses accommodate pets, helping pet owners know what to expect before they arrive.
An unclaimed listing has not been claimed and verified through FurFinds. Information shown on an unclaimed listing may be based on publicly available information and should not be interpreted as FurFinds verification. A verified business has completed the FurFinds verification process and been assigned a FurFinds verification tier.
