3. AI-Assisted Processing and Verification

FurFinds may use automated tools, including artificial intelligence-assisted technologies, to help review business applications, publicly available business information, websites, reviews, social media, pet policies, submitted materials, and other information relevant to the FurFinds verification process.

These tools may assist with organizing information, identifying inconsistencies, evaluating information against FurFinds verification criteria, and suggesting potential verification outcomes or tiers.

AI-assisted tools do not independently make final verification decisions. Final approval, denial, tier assignment, suspension, or other material verification decisions are subject to human review by FurFinds.

FurFinds may also use automated tools to support Platform operations, customer service, content moderation, fraud prevention, analytics, and other business functions as those features are introduced.

4. Business and Nonprofit Information

Businesses and nonprofit organizations that apply to FurFinds may provide information that FurFinds uses to create public profiles. By submitting information, applicants agree that FurFinds may display approved profile information publicly on the Platform.

5. Reviews, Complaints, and Reports

Users may submit reviews, complaints, or incident reports. FurFinds may review, moderate, investigate, remove, or act on submitted content in accordance with our policies. FurFinds may share relevant complaint or report information with the involved business, pet owner, or internal review team when needed to evaluate the issue.

6. How We Share Information

FurFinds may share information with:

  • Service providers that help operate the Platform, including hosting, email, newsletter, analytics, and

customer-support providers

  • Payment processors, such as Stripe
  • Technology and AI service providers that assist with verification, Platform functionality, security,

moderation, or other operational services

  • Businesses involved in a booking, review, complaint, or other relevant interaction
  • Authorized FurFinds team members or contractors who need access to perform their responsibilities
  • Legal, regulatory, law-enforcement, or other authorities when required or permitted by applicable law

FurFinds does not sell personal information to advertisers.

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. When you make a payment through FurFinds, your payment information is collected and processed by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy. FurFinds does not store your full payment information. Where a recurring subscription is selected, you authorize FurFinds and its payment processor to charge the selected payment method according to the billing terms presented at enrollment.

8. Cookies and Analytics

FurFinds may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand platform usage, improve performance, personalize content, and support marketing efforts. We use Google Analytics to better understand how our platform is used. These services may collect information about your use of our platform. Users may adjust cookie settings through their browser or device settings.

FurFinds takes reasonable steps to protect user information. However, no website, database, or digital Platform can guarantee complete security. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.
